It's a sad fact that we will almost always outlive our loyal and loving canine companions. I've gone through many in my life... Susie, the spirited beagle & escape artist, Bandit, the leaping Terri-Poo, Maddie, my sweet poodle, Lucy, my angel boxer, to name a few. I can definitely relate to what you are saying, Jim. Dogs are pure love. But it's nice to picture them waiting for a joyous reunion with us when we too cross that "rainbow bridge" into forever...
