Dog Lovers Essentials

Do you have your dog lovers essentials? Your dog is sitting beside you while you drink your coffee. Bet you wish your mug had a picture of your pet on it.

We look everywhere for stuff to show off our dog breeds. Pet stores usually don't have what we need because our breed isn't in the real popular category.

End of the year and we can't find our breed calendar. I need an AKC book on agility training and can't find it.

The holidays are coming and we can't find anything for our friends and family who are also avid dog owners or dog lovers.

I'm sure you all are in the same boat. As dog owners, most of the places we try to find our "goodies" do not carry them. And running around all over town is not an option.

We love receiving dog gifts. Whether its for birthday, Christmas or get well, they brighten us up tremendously.

One of my favorites was a book about my dog's horoscope. Boy was it right on the money! I laughed as I read him his daily prediction. Of course, he looked at me like I had two heads, but, what the heck.

When it comes to training, home veterinary care and other subjects you need for your pet care, books are a must.

Most bookstores and pet stores don't carry exactly what you are looking for.

So we went in search of specific dog books, by breed, dog training, dog health, dog grooming and also dog gifts for ourselves, friends and family.

Check them out like we did and I'm sure you will be just as pleased as we were.

My husband's office is loaded with all Collie items and his co-workers named it the "Collie Club".

Whereas, my workspace is full of Sheltie goodies and the bunch call it "Sheltie Central".

Time to start loading up and brag about your dog breed or breeds. Let's show everyone how much we love our dogs.
