Dogs and History

About 10,000 years ago, give or take, dogs and history began. The first domestic canine was the wolf and that makes our pets their descendants.

People appreciated the "dogs" cleaning up the garbage and keeping out unwanted predators and disease carrying animals.

The dogs became part of the village, started living with the humans and the domestic dog was born.
